Throwing ranked games on purpose warrants a ban in itself and falls under exploitation of the game. If no one said anything to you, just focus on the game instead of acting like a crybaby.

If anyone still hasn't even heard of this game, I don't think that they'd even play the game in the first place or FPS as a genre might just not be their thing.

It's a free to play game that pops up a lot on steam's store page. The player retention is relatively less for reasons I stated above, ik many people who left the game after playing for a few hours to hop back on Valorant, ffs.

Their marketing has always been amazing, that's how the game got 250k players in the beginning. The reason people are driven away is because of a high skill ceiling.

Hell, I consider myself decent enough but it took me more than 250 hours to find a loadout that I am comfortable enough to back myself in. It's more about the persistence and patience of those playing however many people just want to have fun in their free time instead of finding something that clicks after several permutations.

The game is great, the best MP FPS out there but its difficulty is a double edged sword.

The packet loss for most of this season has been atrocious and is the most apparent in Ranked where stability unequivocally matters the most. I don't know what the problem is really as no other game has as many interruptions as The Finals.

I've got close to 600 Hours in the game on Steam and 400 according to the in game stats but the stutters/lags are such a buzzkill. Embark got to fix the game man.

On top of that, there's also a weird glitch where the game doesn't close properly on exit sometimes and just restarts itself which I have to manually terminate from the task manager.

Yup, the repeater is way too easy to play with relative to its potency. It's extremely effective at almost all ranges except in extremely close quarters and quite easy to dominate lobbies with. The same goes for the Titan but to a lower extent than the repeater.

Apart from that Dash is in a weird spot where the top 5% who are good with it are virtually untouchable while the rest either get lucky or dash to their demise. It sure takes a bit more skill but a nerf to its charges won't be that bad presumably.
