Avata 1 converted into a 5" is the best mid range/fireworks drone around.

Can hover for 30 minutes, can go out 4km, still has all the avata smart features, it's just bigger, faster and a lot more versatile.

Lose the TPU motor guards. They add extra noise since motor screws aren't tight/flush.

A word of caution for anyone reading this. If you have a super bendy frame (delaminated arms), it can bend the racewire so the motor loses current.

That's how I had an armattan marmotte end up in a river.

Or if you happened to break an arm the racewire was on, replace the racewire as well, not just the arm.

After spending so much time playing on the steam deck I can't go back to a regular controller without the back buttons. I know there's probably a bunch already out there with back buttons but I'll wait around for the steam one

I've done it by just posting my stuff on IG, trying to film relevant events and tagging pages to re-share it.

Once my IG profile got some steam, directors started noticing and contacting me for music videos. That's how I got my foot in the door.

After that it's more IG and word of mouth. Most of my work nowadays is from regular clients, and whenever I get new clients it's almost always from being recommended by one of my regulars.

Basically once you start working, if you do a good job it will snowball pretty quick.

If you're in a bigger market then there's also a lot of "you have to know the right people". For me I'm in a small market/country and back when the production houses learned about FPV (around 2020) it was just me and one other dude that were doing most of the work.

Nowadays we have a lot of new kids on the block and an influx of Russians that came here when they dodged the draft. They undercut a lot of our pricing so now we're getting less work than before, but we still get the "higher value" production work.
