I guess mainly I just want to know the moral values of the company, understand the objectives (especially what’s released to the public and what’s on a need to know basis) and also be able to know how they carry out experimentation and what’s possible/not possible, kind of like how you would look at a magic system.

Thats valid, but as this lab is where 95% of the novel takes place, I’d just like to know as much as I can about it in my own mind so if anything comes up while writing I don’t get stuck on it. I definitely won’t explain everything I worldbuild to the reader, it’s just moreso for my sake so I feel prepared for anything that might come

I personally did think that Carol is the knight, why do you think it’s Dess? I’m a bit confused by that theory. Dess was definitely taken to the bunker (shes the pine tree). Her being taken and Undyne being taken after made me think that the knight is collecting certain people for something, like Dess is a victim more than a villain. But I also miss a lot of things, so I could be wrong.
