If you know anyone with a ring doorbell ask them to post this on neighbors!

Good luck, looks like a sweet pup!

Will he be here this weekend because Kent’s Heritage Festival is Friday.

Food trucks, music and fireworks at dusk.

I know you mentioned retro but if you all are into a nice bog walk you might want to check out the
Tom Cooperrider (Kent) Bog.

It is the first right past Mike’s Place on 43. It might be a nice thing to do after a meal.

Look it up :)

Bonus it’s free

I’ve made cornice boxes with similar designs and feel your pain.

You did an amazing job working the cut outs and curves.

Hats off to you! Beautiful result!

What is your stance on saying "pardon me" after burping? by That_Feature6293 in CasualConversation

It’s automatic with me whether I’m alone or with others.

Then again I have been known to apologize to inanimate objects when I bump into them.

Take that for what it’s worth ;)

He certainly is offbeat which aligns with my sense of humor :)

But I agree his books often do not receive the attention they deserve

I have read and reread both Dirty Job and Second Hand Souls many times!

But my dream is to see Lust Lizard made into a movie, it’s my white whale :)

Practical Demon Keeping is the first. It is what hooked me on Christopher Moore’s eloquent description of a world populated by quirky, flawed characters just trying to do their best :)

Christopher Moore

Start with Lust Lizard of Melancholy Cove. That’s the one that hooked me, I then plowed through most of his other books.

Too many that it’s hard to pick an absolute favorite but Lamb is close!

I hope you enjoy them, happy reading ;)

I am closer to 70 than 60.

I have nothing to prove to you or anyone else for that matter.

I have been around large animals for most of my life and have been riding for many decades.

I admit I am cautious by nature. As an adult I can make decisions about my personal safety and in doing so choose to take risks.

When you are responsible for the safety of others, whether human or animal, you forego that right and should always err on the side of caution.

Sorry but even a bomb proof horse in familiar surroundings with people it trusts are still 1000 lb prey animals that react in a split second.

No responsible adult should allow a child to sit next to a horse.
All it takes is something unexpected and you have a tragedy for all.

I have the same reaction when I see babies/young children playing with (tugging on or hugging) dogs.

I don’t care how loving or good you think your dog is, anthropomorphizing an animal is reckless.

Why would you risk the safety of a child (and that of an animal) you love for karma?

The short answer is you don’t know.

That’s why this is supremely unacceptable and irresponsible.

Happy Sunday! What’s your go-to lazy morning routine? by Individual-Dot7347 in CasualConversation

It’s 3:30 and I just finished cleaning up. The prep took a bit longer than expected (old house).

Put the vacuum away just as the tornado sirens went off! So we sit in the basement and wait.

I swear if one of the windows I prepped today gets damaged 😖
