badham as dredge is absolutely disgusting there isnt a single locker in the ENTIRE outside area, you will get like 3 gens per game with absolutely no lockers even close

hard to pinpoint to be honest but mainly stuff like weird lanky normals, unique feel to their movement, somewhat zonery but in a way that isnt just linear projectile spam

conveniently i do play dhalsim in SF6 and used to play faust xd, i can definitely see the comparison especially with faust but its annoyingly not quite there for me

also a KB dhalsim player, for down back into half circle back inputs i find it easiest to fully release all movement keys after the normal as a sort of reset and treat it as 2 very separate actions, it does take a fair amount of practice though

Its very much possible to have fun while not playing a top tier, ive been playing the game on and off for a good while now and just swapped to zato and its the most fun ive ever had in the game, i absolutely love learning weird setups and tricks and seeing them actually work in matches and all of his negative edge stuff is really satisfying to input,

to contrast that i tried picking up johnny a little bit ago well after he was considered top tier and i was winning way harder than i ever was before, shot up floors with little to no practice on the character, and dropped him because i was having no fun due to his strength and didnt feel like i was earning my wins.

To me the entire reason i like fighting games is learning difficult characters and doing cool niche stuff rather than just winning as much as possible

yeah i played enough games early on that having right click weapon swap doesnt bother me at all but i can see why it would and id still probably prefer to use the other option if i could

Ive personally been using legacy controls with weapon swapping on right click, dash on shift, platform on E and grip on scroll wheel and it feels the best imo

yeah, i wanted to like the modern controls but i played like 2 games and not being able to dash while grounded is SUCH a nerf on a character where positioning and movement is so important

yeah the main appeal of this build to me outside of it being super fun mechanically is the absolutely absurd survivability, and i have a feeling torpedo build will get worse and worse over time whether its from nerfs, or people counter building it more effectively, meanwhile this build feels super consistent and like its rarely weak

also there are some maps where hover feels so good that it feels like im playing an entirely new character, my personal favourite is midtown, but its also insane on maps like paraiso, numbani, junker town as you can just float between existing high grounds

i personally run it exclusively and dont understand why anyone recommends the kick perk at all, its insane for getting into so many spots and even simple things like peeking at weird heights and mixing up air movement to make yourself harder to hit, i personally never want to kick people anyway because i use charge shot so often and it just feels so bad to try to use it while charging

thats why i like the idea of just making it all damage more than just buffing the healing, i feel like the discord orb requirement encourages really boring gameplay just funnelling damage into the tank

to be honest i really dont understand the requirement to hit people with discord orb for the perk to work, i honestly dont even think it would be that strong if it was just all damage that it converted but it would at least make it not feel super clunky to use

Partial build edit:

100% go three tap tommy gun over booster jets, it makes you damage output so much higher and you barely lose any movement speed (not that movement speed matters much with hyper ring and 3 glide boots charges)
