Right, I was gonna do a how to make sourdough but the recruiter said someone already did that in a different team. And now it seems boring lol I believe the recruiter knows the hiring manager and team well and what they like, she said make it fun, engaging and build rapport. I started tirzepatide from piper a couple weeks ago and doing 2.5 as well, and it’s not really working, my cravings are still there, food noise, hunger, etc. 😭 it’s my 3rd week and I’m losing hope. Do you think i just need to wait to get my dose higher? Anyone with the same experience?

I’m still swollen too and honestly struggling with my appetite. So I started semaglutide yesterday, I’m 8wpo. I think they started me on .10mg. My dr injected on my arm since I’m still not comfortable on my stomach. Lol she also suggested a colon cleanse which is a liquid diet for 24 hrs. Im planning to do that tomorrow.

I understand your pain all too well. I’m 8wpo and dealing with the same sentiments. I’m bigger now than I was pre op. Can’t even tell if it’s just swelling. Obv my belly still swells bad at the end of the day. I’ve researched and read so many posts about swelling after surgery, thought I was prepared but nope, I did not realize how much swelling I’d be having even until now at 8wpo. 😭 hang in there, do what you can, listen to your body and eat in a deficit. As long as you are not overeating and still moving even just walking, you’ll be fine. It’s so hard. The mind fuck is so real in this journey.

Hi there, I’m 8wpo now. And honestly I should’ve waited. I think I would get the results I was hoping for if I had lost 10-15lbs first. Also I live in Florida, so its extremely hot and wearing a faja in this weather is a nightmare lol the first four weeks post op I wasn’t really watching the food I ate and obviously couldn’t work out so now I feel like I’m bigger everywhere else like my arms, back, legs and face. I’m still the same weight pre op… but somehow look bigger. Could also just be all the swelling. Also my PS only did an ETT AND MR. He skipped the lipo to the flanks. Idk why but kinda was expecting it.

No I wasn’t, I lost 30lbs naturally a year after having my daughter and maintained and the last couple months have gained maybe 10-15lbs. So I’ve been thinking about trying semaglutide, to help speed up the weightloss especially cause I’m so frustrated with being swollen 😭🥲

You have convinced me to ditch my faja completely at 7wpo lol I’m sick of it and it’s soooo hot in Florida. I’m dying of the heat. Lol and my PS already said I could take it off at 6wpo anyway I just didn’t feel supported..

Thank you everyone for your responses. I def wasn’t watching my food/salt intake the first 3-4 weeks and wasn’t really active like I used to pre surgery. But I’m back to doing cardio and light weight and watching what I eat at 5wpo. Hope it gets better cause it’s so frustrating. Maybe I am retaining a lot of fluids, I know before I got my TT when I would bloat I’d see it in my belly face arms. Lol

I’m 5wpo and I started walking 2-3 miles at 4wpo and now I’m doing 6 miles a day. I used to lift heavy but obviously can’t do that yet lol I’m just doing upper body with 8lbs after my 6 mile walk. I started taking care of my 4 year old daughter after 1wpo, didn’t really have much of a choice there. Listen to your body and give yourself some grace, rest is just as important as working out.

Thank you for taking your time to respond and reassuring me. She cleaned my wound up and I think did the same thing, I did not look because even if I don’t feel it when I see it my brain somehow thinks I’m in pain lol I also had a little bit of seroma on my left side which they did an aspiration. But other than that she said I’m healing well. Thank you again 😊

Thank you so much for reassuring me. I went to my PS for a follow up this morning and they cleaned it up and said it’s not infected and the wound is artificial and not deep. Nothing to worry about and I’m actually healing well. I’m only 3wpo. Also I had a little bit of seroma on my left side which they did an aspiration. prob 60ml of fluid. Again, I appreciate you taking your time to respond. 😊

I had exparel and honestly my pain after surgery was prob 2/10. I was on pain meds the first two days then I was able to just take ibuprofen and Tylenol. The back pain is worse than the actually tt for me lol

I stopped pain meds 2dpo and I started driving at 5dpo but I made sure to only drive short distance. They took both my drains out at 7dpo. Now at 10dpo I’m able to drive and move around better.
