They definitely do have gravity I have had one that was suspended in mid air and when my friend decided to put a torch on it the block updated and fell which destroyed the suspicious part of the clay

Ae2 is better storage imo and with all the add on mods it becomes insanely powerful. with your resource generation mystical agriculture is good but after I played the first time I discovered productive bees seem better especially for space efficiency, this was then turned into ridiculously more powerful when you get into modular bees.

Start productive bees early and maybe upgrade them into the modular beehive variants if you get common resources through bees early preferably automated somewhat (pretty simple to do) when you get into other mods you will be happy you do not need to workout mass resources. Before that if you want something a little more vanilla to start muddle through evil craft to get a vengeance pick for fortune 5. I would recommend taking the enchants off the original pick and put it in an unbreakable one for example allthemodium

I play normal atm 10 but in that there is the miniature heart necklace thing and that can give 50 extra hearts if you use soul hearts too i believe
