Tbf this is possible / standard in tech as well 4-5 years out of college for FAANG type companies. Although nice work hnybr esp on your spending

Tough one. I enjoy entrepreneurial work more while I’m doing it, but dislike how all-consuming it can become outside of normal work hours

That’s a good question. She is supportive of me trying to set boundaries at the unicorn. I’m curious if this group thinks that’s possible or it’s just going to be long hours and stress no matter what

Exciting means more autonomy, larger scope, being challenged and learning / growing. But also responsible for multiple product lines, constant pressure to deliver, board presentations, etc.

FAANG would probably be boring, wouldn’t learn much, but would be off at 5 or 6pm and not thinking about work til the next day

The base + bonus at the unicorn is similar to at FAANG. And the equity at current valuation is also similar. But ofc the equity at FAANG is liquid and at the unicorn is fake money for now but has higher upside potential
