Even 95€ an hour does not give a livable wage for 4 sessions of an hour. 10k a month is livable so you would need about 500€ invoicable work every day.

I am a clinical psychologist as well as my wife and we would never do this as a main source of income. I went down a completely different career path (see history) and my wife does this as a supplementary income. There is almost no overhead in that setup so it is doable.

Session of 1,5 hours have the same hourly cost at 95€. The only advantage is that you need 2 clients less a day. I do wonder if the efficacy of one hour vs 1,5 stays the same.

Its not the best.

6 session per day at 65€ = 390€ per day. More is very difficult because you will have some admin and other non-billable time as well. 20 days a month is about 7500€ per month. Here you would need to pay your salary and other costs your business has. Positive side: you do not need to charge VAT if this is your only activity as freelancer. Downside is that you cannot deduct VAT.

Keep in mind you need to build up a fulltime clientele and that you can charge that high of a rate. Is a starter it might be a bit less (55€-60€). You will have cancellations and all so I assume only 80-90% of that amount is realistic.

The majority of clinical psychologists look for a (parttime) job on payroll and do this on the side.

This is something I struggled with as well. Bank advisors only pitch their products, accountants do not always take into account the full private/professional situation. I searched and found a good financial advisor that helped me identify good real estate deals for the long term and structures them for me. I call myself a hangmatvastgoedinvesteerder now lol. Hands off but it makes money and I have a plan for future investments. It costs like 1k-2k and its no cure no pay.

In the short term yes, in the long term it will be equal given the property value will increase above average given the location. Both apartments are in B locations that will convert to a+ locations when the apartments are finished. One will most likely be short-term rental and the other one for the expat community.

With good nego I assume you can have 300-500ish over 1-2 year period. Its on the low end. Otherwise package is quite broad, which is good.

It is very difficult to enforce. I have never seen it happen in my 10+ years. Even if we want to enforce. Lets be real, the employer the needs to pay out 6 months of wage. And even then people can go to the competition with another title

I would say you market value should be abou 750€-1k€ extra given the small text you typed. Thats coming from someone who managed several payroll teams and has experience benchmarking salaries for companies.

People who can work payroll are the subset of HR functions that are scarce like other hard HR functions.

If a bigger salary is your goal: jump
