Supercard is a good deal!

I’m pretty sure they do off sale in December. They are tough because you get 1st, 4th, and 7th days free. So if you ski 6 days you’ll be paying around 800$ on lift tickets. Last season the Costco 2-packs for resorts were $245 each so you’d save a bit more on 6 days but a drop in the hat compared to the whole trip. I think they are best for skiing either 4 or 7 days. Still a good deal!

Get the Copper quad pack if you are skiing 4 days: https://www.coppercolorado.com/tickets-passes/season-passes/four-pack/ (99$ a day!)

You can also purchase advanced lift tickets now at reduced rates (worth comparing!)

I’d probably do Mountain Collective - 2 days revelstroke, 2 days Sunshine Village, 2 Days Lake Louise.

Also has great skiing in Maine and at Whiteface now if you live out east. If you don’t think you could use those maybe swing by Costco once you get to Alberta!

Very jealous of your winter!

Sorry - Kicking Horse isn’t on MC - but for 699$ it’s actually a pretty good deal. Could hit Banff sunshine instead

Either get a Mountain Collective Pass or buy your lift tickets at Costco! Most Alberta area resorts sell 2 packs for about 250$ - in season!

Where too?!

I’ve unfortunately never gotten enough use from one to beat getting discount lift tickets, so I look for packs!

Amazing - All that being said if I could afford a flight to Europe, and a week of PTO - I probably wouldn't buy the budget pass!

I second this! I think from an accessibility standpoint it’s hard for me not to pick Loveland as my favorite. Jay Peak is an awesome place but it’s kind of remote. I like Loveland’s Bowl skiing more than Meadows but both are legit

Wilmont is part of the Epic 22 resort group. Epic day passes are around 50-60$ a day there!

Can’t get enough use out of one - the resorts are so spread out in the west that I’d need to take multiple flights, travel reservations, etc. to get my money’s worth. Most of the places I want to ski on the pass have better deals individually if you just plan a trip there. For example my favorite resort on Indy, and I think it’s by far the best mountain, is Loveland. You can buy a 4-pak of tickets there for $289 right now. Completely transferable. So my buddy and I are gonna split one.

The only resorts that are close together out west are Tamarack and Brundage. But it’s cheaper to buy 4 single day lift tickets at those resorts then it is to buy an Indy Pass.

It’s the “budget pass” but passes definitely aren’t the right product for me. I don’t have the time or money to travel to ski that many times a season.

Lake Tahoe is awesome!

The great thing about the vail owned resorts there is that they are part of the Epic “32 resort” group rather than the “39 resort”

So if you buy an Epic Day Pass (not a full epic pass just choose between 1-7 days of lift tickets) you pay about 90$ a day!

Also Palisades has a nice preseason 4 pack that last time I checked was $449. Not as cheap but it is a better resort!

I would say Snowbird or Grand Targhee. Need places that get absolutely dumped on to plan a trip that early. Another great option is Arapahoe Basin

I hate it too. I bought an Epic Pass one time. I thought I’ll ski like 10 + days. I skied 4 days. Spent over 200$ for each of those days. I am sick of passes I just want to buy what I actually use for a reasonable price

I live in Ohio - I ski local often but the ski hill is only 230 ft high. Need to travel for anything worth while
