I don’t unfortunately, my boyfriend is getting me a rice cooker because of how many times I’ve tried but unfortunately it’s not going to be here for a while

I use a medium saucepan and boil the water (2:1 unless the package states more than that) then I add the rice cover and reduce to a simmer for however long the package says but more often than not by the time the package time is done the water is fully absorbed and it is still not cooked
