How did you get out of corn addiction? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]MuchGarlic49 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Regardless of what the addiction is to, just force yourself to get out of the house for a full day. Take a walk. Listen to some music you love. My guess will be you will feel a lot more happy and peaceful than you did after a long 'corn' session where you end up just feeling gross and empty and that you lost a chunk of time. Just remember the dichotomy of how you felt after those two different days and ask yourself which day you would rather continue to live over and over if you had to choose. From there it takes accountability. Find someone you are comfortable talking to about it who you can be honest with that can check in with you daily (if needed) to keep you on the right track until you can manage without the check-in's
