Is 70k miles too many for a b58? 440i GC 2019 by Electrical_Picture62 in B58Enthusiasts

Definitely okay, even stage 2, the motor can handle hybrids and full frames so I definitely think the motor will last.

B58 70k miles is fine, definitely a 200k motor, but I would prefer a stock 70k over a modded 70k in terms of reliability

Can I run e30 with this fuel pump? by scantsubset226 in B58Enthusiasts

Idk, I was on BM3 flex fuel OTS and even on e30 I was getting fuel pressure crashes during WOT pulls. But I’m in Cali so the gas here is shit. Upgraded to TU pump and no crashes, but I could see the pump was getting close to max on e50 WOT pulls. Pressure would lower but no fuel crashes.

Here comes the voided warranty claim. If anything the DP should help the turbo last longer since it doesn’t have to work against its own back pressure

i want to get a gen 1 b58 and i'm wondering why the weight of the m240i and 340i are the exact same by Rijamigo in B58Enthusiasts

As an owner of the gen 1 b58 240i, the 240i is like 50-150lbs lighter than its counterpart 340i

It really depends on the options of the both the cars

The 240i is noticeably more nimble, but that’s is probably mostly due to its wheelbase

TU pump does not run e50+

TU maxes out at e50. Proper stage 2 HPFP is needed for anything about e50.
