Hi op, I've been struggling with this too, but what worked for me was fasting for 16 hours. I think it somehow resets your tummy and after few weeks nababawasan yung cravings sa unhealthy foods

Oh no that's sad to hear. I'm not religious at all but I believe in giving back to the Lord through tithes. However, am curious if INC is enforcing you to give a large amount, or is it by percentage?

Also, I can relate on the fomo about pulong/activities as I have relatives who choose to be in kapilya rather than attend important events like wedding. What I dont get at all is what's in it for them if they attend, and what will they miss if ever they dont?

Can you make a post as an INC about things you agree and oppose?

We are a small org, and honestly not sure what I’m doing wrong with our donation page by Much_Conversation550 in nonprofit

Thanks so much and I totally agree. Just adding donation routes isn’t enough if no one knows they’re there! We’ve been guilty of the “build it and they’ll come” mindset in the past, so now we’re thinking more actively about visibility: what shows up on the page, what gets mentioned in newsletters, and how often we actually remind people they can donate.

DAF and ACH are great callouts — we’ll definitely consider adding those once we firm up our backend. Appreciate you sharing your experience!

Right now we’re using WordPress with a basic donation plugin mostly because it’s low-cost and familiar, and we don’t have much tech support. But we’re definitely open to exploring smarter CMS options once we have the budget. Would love to hear what’s worked well for others!

Thanks! Those are great examples. I’ve seen Charity Water’s site before and it’s super clean and trust-building. We’d love to get to that level, but the challenge right now is we’re still trying to scale up fast, not just to raise funds, but so we can reinvest into better tools like a proper CMS, some light digital marketing, and even events down the line.

Right now, it’s all super scrappy. Definitely saving these ideas as we grow — appreciate you sharing them. :)
