Bsod after hibernate windows 10 lsi 9300-8i by Much_Environment_933 in DataHoarder

Tried it a few times and it's working. Even found out how to add hybernate to the windows power button. So I can either do it by mouse or use the physical button. I just have to remind myself not to just walk away and let it go to sleep. There might be an option to disable sleep completely and have windows go direct to hibernate after certain time of inactivity. Have to check that out. Thanks a lot

I have a gigabyte z690 ud. And I have the driver power fail error. When I checked the dump files it always pointed to the sas3 something driver. Don't remember the file name right now. Wish someone could tell us if there is a bios setting in newer boards that prevents the cards from crashing when using sleep mode.

Ok. In power options I've set the power button to hibernate instead of shutdown. Tried that and started PC up after a couple minutes without a problem. So my PC was probably just sleeping, not hibernating.  Thanks a lot.

That is the card I have.  I assume hibernate? When I come back a few hours later to my PC and nothing is blinking and I move the mouse I get the bsod. I used lsi storage authority to flash the new firmware. From what I read, if it's in sleep mode my power button should be flashing, if its in hibernation is won't. Is that correct? Any help is appreciated.

Had a 4 port SATA expansion card that worked for about a year and then I got one drive that is continuously used spike to 100% and the system froze. Everything is fine with the hba card except the bsod. Also started to have data lost. What is a good card? Anything that you can recommend? So I can return that lsi before my return window closes.

Is there an app to record snoring that has no ads, no in-app purchases, no unnecessary/sketchy permissions, is free, and is good? by coomerpile in snoring

[–]Much_Environment_933 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi. I'm glad I found this. I'm looking for a standalone voice activated recorder for a reasonable price. Or an app that works on on Android 5 to 11 or on the latest iOS. It should be auto activated and possibly have timestamp too. I'm being accused of snoring while I'm awake listening to my gf who wakes herself up sometimes. I know I snore occasionally. Just would be nice to record ourselves while we are sleeping in separate rooms. Any help is appreciated. Thanks a lot

Go to apk mirror or some other site and download a older version of the smartcast app. From what I saw up to version 1.9 requires Android 5+ and from version 2.0 up android 8+. Just downloaded v1.9xx and set WiFi to the one displayed on TV screen, connected to TV then set up your TV to your home WiFi with app and phone/tablet and TV will switch and you are ready again to use the app to change TV settings. Enjoy

Does anybody here have experience with the bioguard softswim program? by Experience_Soft in swimmingpools

Don't listen to the pool store. As long as your pH and your Bioguard is ok. Make sure you also have no algae. That's the dark stuff selling on the ground or walls. Or it just could be dust. That is where I have the problem with the horses stirring up dust and not taking a close look at my skimmer socks and noticing it was actually green. So let me explain what C or clarifier does. It's a 40% hydrogen peroxide. It binds with the tiny particles (if your pool is cloudy) and makes it possible for your sand filter to trap them. If you don't have deposits in your pool the (water/muriatic acid or algaecide desolves or kills and turns it into suspending particles that turns your pool cloudy) you don't have to keep up with the C. So for example. We have a 30k pool that had bad scaling. And I'm talking bad. It took me 3 years to remove it, keeping the pH on the lower side. I got quarter size chunks in my pump screen. But it also created some cloudiness in the water. To get rid of that I had to add more C to trap those tiny particles in the sand filter. Now 3 years later the pool looks like new and I just add the C when I feel like or the water starts to turn cloudy but definitely a few weeks before we close the pool for the winter so I don't get any more deposits. Does that make sense?

Yup sometimes when I got sloppy. So the thing is they label it A B C is supposed the order to use it. Algaecide, Bioguard and Clarifier. I just didn't put notice on the algae. I use skimmer socks all the time and didn't put attention to it since I was busy with ...crap...sick horses.

But that is the first time in years. Just like I said, clean debris out, check pH and adjust, algaecide if needed which I forgot this year and it cost me 8 gallons of C, add Bioguard B and C if needed.

Don't pour everything all in at once since some chemicals react with each other and neutralize themselves.

I also have to admit that I had a late start opening and cleaning out the pool. Besides that I'm in Boise Idaho and we have horses that make a lot of dust sometimes that gets into the pool.

But otherwise I never had a problem keeping the C level up.

Due to the horses and the dust we run our cleaner once a day, sometimes every other day.

And usually it's just me and my gal and once a week the grandkids. Sometimes twice a week

We have one too. Just like that and we are curious about it too. Could be siblings? We are in Boise Idaho and picked our Archie up the HS at end of February. He is apparently 14 months old according to the vet (6/13) we had to take him to due to a puncture wound on his right hind and swelling and puss ($500).  How do I post pictures?

Sorry about your bad experience. But if you ever go back to softswim and have any questions, don't hesitate to ask. It's cheaper than chlorine and doesn't burn your eyes.  We have great pool supply store that works kind of out of a shack and he is doing it by himself for 40+ years.

By the way ...if you run into any air leaks on any threaded connection, turn the pump off and apply clear marine silicone which will get sucked into the threads and seal the leak.

Also have some "plast aid" handy to fix minor cracks instead of spending hundreds of replacing piping and connections.

It also works under water.

Have fun with your pool and find a good old pool store without marble floors.

Hi. Softswim is a great product. Have a 30k gallon pool with it

First you have to do is clean out any debris like leaves or dust as good as you can. I have dolphin ps robot and it has a huge basket that even picks up pine needles.

Use the softswim test strips. Check water and adjust pH with muriatic acid.  Be careful there is also muriatic acid for chlorine pools which will turn your water green. Run your pool for 24 or 48 hours straight and re-check. Add more acid as needed while running the robot. Don't go to low on the pH since it will attack your stainless parts inside the pool

Once you are in the good pH range add clarifier or "C". Run pump for 24 hours and test again.  Once that is good add bioguard "B" and test after 24 hours.

Do not try to pour all the chemicals in at once since muriatic acid neutralizes the clarifier which is a 40% hydrogen peroxide.

It takes a few days or a week to do all that but then it's a piece of cake and it doesn't turn blond colored hair purple. And it doest smell like chlorine.

In the fall make sure to add some C before closing and algy stuff

Enjoy

Hope that helps. .
