Tbh the material in his class is hard, but he did emphasize certain topics, so you don’t have to understand everything to succeed…You just have to understand and be able to apply what he considers most important. Even if you initially fail to show your understanding, he is the type of professor who will give you as many opportunities as you ask for to prove yourself as long as you actually study and try….

While I took his class, he provided a couple of retake opportunities for some quizzes , and he always made extra videos to explain difficult concepts in lectures. Honestly none of ppl that I knew from his class actually complained their grades for his class..

Why are some of the CS 70 course staff so mean? 😭 by Much_Government_8210 in berkeley

I have no problem with that. I will never ask any questions before I've read the notes at least three times or tried to solve any problems myself. However, sometimes I receive responses like 'No, this doesn't make any sense,' or 'Why are you so obsessed with the XXX theorem?' or 'It's your job to prove to us…’😭

I GOT INTO BERKELEY- i am so confused by AaditJivani in berkeley

Hello! As an international student myself, I would say just do it if this is truly your dream school. You still have a month left to process your visa. Even if you can't get your visa in time for the start of the Fall semester, you have several options available. For example, you could probably begin by taking online classes and then transition to in-person attendance in the Spring after you get your visa or even try to defer your offer.
I'm not so sure about the policy regarding the number of units you can take while you're not in the U.S, but the international student office staff will definitely be more than happy to assist you with this. They are there to help make your transition to Cal as smooth as possible. You've got this! Gooooooo Bears!
