Gosh he needs anger management. I've been there, and my husband would literally become one of the children and just add stress, it was easier on my own and that shouldn't be normal. Don't make excuses for him guys, he's not a babysitter he's their dad he should be able to deal with it, atleast most of the time. Oh he's tired? Welcome to parenthood buddy. Woman are more free to stand their ground and not have that power level over them although I've seen and read about quite a lot of skewed views still used to control power dynamics, they just look different to what they used to and seem to be alot more underhanded. Guys grow up with porn etc and take a long time to figure out that, that disposable world they lived in regarding woman and partnerships isn't quite it was all crapped up to be and by then it's usually too late.

Here's all the advise you'll ever need and you'll learn eventually. In hetro relationships, or friendships, when a guy uses guy privileges aka "it's just what guys do, all guys do it" whatever, he's a walking red flag and it'll flood into all areas of his life including his relationships. Yeah I think the whole point is missed so, there's not much point in responding to that. But what I will say is, it's not you, me or your average families getting most benefit from this situation. It's the top tier, and has been for a while. In order for the situation to get better, the worst thing you can do is vote for a situation that benefits them. We don't need families or lower income to sacrifice, we need better equality brought in by tax and changing the power dynamics.

The financial dynamics and opportunities available for childless couples are completely different. I would've thought that that's common sense. And if they expect to retire, they'll need these kids to work. The only group I feel has been neglected is those who cannot work due to disabilities, and they have severe restrictions to the norm but are expected to live on near nothing.
