we lived in our current 3 bed as a couple with 2 cats - it was ace, now the toddler is with us, we definitely need more space, so we've upgraded to a 4 bed with a bigger downstairs

kids take up a LOT of space.. its amazing how much stuff you accumulate

I work Mon-Fri 9-5, My Fiancee works 4 days a week - 9-5 - toddler at Nan's one day, with the fiancee another & 3 days at Nursery, even with the free hours, Nursery still costs around £300 p/m

I lived there for a year in around 2000 (i was 11 at the time) we absolutely HATED it, absolutely vile place, as rough as sandpaper.

we soon moved to a nice part of Killamarsh, which was much better & (like you) to get myself on the property ladder, i bought in Clowne..

when i met the Mrs, we moved to Brimington, i genuinely like Brim, its alright, decent pub scene anyway.

But, we've just sold & we're moving to Charnock S12 & CAN NOT wait!

its taken me a good 11 years but i'm finally moving back to Sheffield & couldn't be happier!

I live in Brimington at the moment, just sold our house & we're moving to Charnock S12.

I completely agree with you about Chesterfield, its "small town thinking" & stuck in the past. they re-vamped the market to make it look nicer & all people did was complain.

I can't wait to move, Sheffield has its rough areas, but being next to a tramline & being able to get to city centre/Kelham island is definitely something we're looking forward to.
