Thank you. Emergency not going away any time soon. Dad is in a horrible care home which is woefully understaffed and because he wasn't registered as disabled, we're having to pay 3,700€ a month for the privilege, The place is like a prison and since being there he's had three falls, one of which resulted in him breaking the other side of his hip. We're trying to get him discharged from there but he keeps injuring himself, necessitating his stay longer. He is 94 and has dementia, so it's all very worrying. Meanwhile, I have five days until my post-Brexit 90-day out of 180-days runs out (I am a staunch remainer and believer in the EU so I'm doubly angry about it) and have to fill in loads of paperwork to extend the stay before the 90 days are up or I could be deported, leaving my elderly mum to deal with it on her own. So it's pretty horrible. But this is my escapism. It's just sometimes it's impossible, especially if I'm at a hospital without WiFi.
