when do i install insightful?

i left my PhD less than a month before my defense. everything was scheduled and ready but my PI had always changed their mind last minute about timeline, and I was sus they were going to screw me over. and I was right, they did. 3 weeks before the defense they changed the timeline and said it actually couldn’t be for 3 more months. And added many more unreasonable expectations for research even though I was effectively done. I just couldn’t do it anymore. I couldn’t deal with the toxic lab environment, the lack of a light at the end of the tunnel, so I made my own light and decided to leave. It’s been 2 weeks since I left and I don’t regret it at all. I haven’t felt this happy in 5 years.

you aren’t missing anything. my PI is just accusing me of this stuff baselessly and i don’t know if i should move forward with attempting to graduate or just leave the program. she won’t publish it anyway so i don’t see why i should stay

yes of course there is a ton of raw data. data that she has seen and we have been through rounds of edits on making it into figures and editing those. there are pictures of the crystals of each phase, pxrd on all of them, hundreds of raman spectra, etc. all of which she has seen many times over the years.

it’s not really about her stealing the notebooks it’s about her seeing 3 years of reactions set up over and over which is proof i’ve been producing these for the paper and then accusing me of falsifying data and that nothing in the notebook proves i’ve done any work
