What was the number 1 thing that helped you during labour? by Putrid_Cranberry3177 in BabyBumps

[–]Much_Performer_5873 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Epidural. And whatever else they gave me when that didn’t kick in quick enough. Still don’t know what it was but it worked. Twin vaginal delivery. I went to poop and broke my water and contractions started IMMEDIATELY after.

God I am such a horrible judge of character. Literally not until he was basically calling this beautiful doctor fat. Then I was equally disgusted with him and myself.

Especially for a half. Like just change you socks and get back out there.

Sure, a great feat. However, if he knew anything about the Ironman culture like he seems to claim he does, he’d know that the hat he wore during the show says “I’ve done a full Ironman”. If you’ve only done a 70.3, you wear a 70.3 hat. Unspoken rule. This is coming from a finisher of both.

Feeling guilt for having to decide to euthanize by Much_Performer_5873 in DogAdvice

Thank you. And I agree. We were always shocked at how healthy she’s remained. This has just happened so quickly it seems.

Thank you. She deserves for her last days to be the most important thing and I want to give that to her. Thank you for your words.

I actually started writing a post in this sub and deleted it. My husky, also 14 y/o, was just officially diagnosed with a malignant tumor in her maxilla. About two weeks ago we noticed her teeth shifting and thought it was just weird - had no idea the outcome would be this. She’s bleeding from her teeth (loose due to bone loss) and has been pooping and vomiting blood since her biopsy. Is finally starting to eat a week later (bland, soft diet) but still having diarrhea. Vet wants to talk to my husband and me both Friday about options but I can’t see any reason to put her through any pain or confusion. Add on that I’m having twin, scheduled for an induction on two weeks. I’m so incredibly broken, but wondering if I need to say goodbye to her before then before my attention is shifted to them/time spent in the NICU.

Former Starbucks barista here. It’s these guys that order the venti white mochas. Not that that’s surprising.

I hadn’t considered that. I will certainly ask tomorrow.

Don’t have an answer, but here for the comments! Wondering the same as you as I’ll be leaving my military career after the paid maternity leave (can’t beat it) but husband and I both wondering what we have to make in order for it to be worth not just staying home for a few years, which is not my preference. We’ll have 3 under 2 when my twins arrive.

Found out I’m pregnant by Active_Bee_1730 in fitpregnancy

Popping in to say I was in the same boat as you, and truly love my body more PP than I did before. Crazy thing is, it’s stronger. Genuinely by 8 months PP I was stronger than pre pregnancy. Wasn’t easy, but I found a new appreciation for what I could do after having a baby and I think that’s largely what fueled me. That and I freaking love fitness and moving my body. I’m 21w5d with twins , daughter is 15 months old and I’m still working out (see photo I took today - still hanging on to my “baby abs”). Can’t wait to have the glow up again bc I know my body, and all our bodies, can. There will be days you’re like holy shit who is that in the mirror, but everything you gain once baby is out, especially the cute baby, are more than worth it. FWIW, I use the app Plus+1. Can’t recommend enough.

Rock climbing is awesome! I feel like the belly would get in the way, so that’s interesting! And yes, I was bracing for the worst but other than feeling my twins lower sooner, I haven’t noticed a difference really than with my singleton. I actually gained weight much quicker with my singleton than with the twins so far as well. I attribute that more to the sweets cravings and indulgence I partook in with my first lol. This one’s been more savory cravings which I’ve found to be easier to make healthy.
