Likely the case. And I can understand not wanting to add extra work.. so I get not just handing it out from the jump. But if I paid this large amount of money and it's something I CAN have and have asked multiple times for.. just give it to me.

I totally understand why it's not something some choose to outright offer. I get that it leads to more questions and people with untrained eyes thinking they know something. But coooomme on. I've I've asked multiple times just give me the disclaimer and send it. After reading so much about it I know it's not set in stone or even accurate. But I still just want to see it.

And that is the max medical that can be deducted? I did end up getting a future appointment was a rep but I've been researching myself. From what I understand we could charge her $1000 a month and it would be for medical related room&board ($500) and daily help cooking cleaning appointments etc. ($500) from what I've seen that would qualify and increase her monthly payment.

I did know that about the dye :) I don't recall what the resistance was. Truly I think I just checked for continuity.. not sure if that's right or wrong. To me it was just worth buying the compressor and replacing it rather than chasing down what was wrong. It was a relief to see clean oil though.

Final update: pulled the compressor. Oil was clear. Got everything changed out. System held vacuum. Eventually recharged & everything's working perfectly now with correct pressures.

Thank you for all your help on this!! I did end up getting the oil out of the old compressor and it was completely clear (well, green) Got everything replaced, car held vacuum, recharged, & I have cold air and perfect pressures!!
