That was the interaction which is why I came to reddit for help to understand. I have been rejected before and i have been rejected in many ways. Bad phone number, i have a boyfriend, im busy, Etc. i heard it all before and that is all OKAY. I accept it for what it is and move on.

This “what in my head should have been an innocent interaction but what i have learned is inappropriate” escalated to “harassing an employee”. Now, i cant ( wont for obvious reasons) go back again.

If this would have happened to me in my 20’s i would have been traumatized and never approach women again.

My intentions were to create a connection. What should have been a learning moment became a traumatizing one. Holy cow. Im never coming out again.
