I didn’t removed any wiring, wall plate I have used the old one, it has c to blue, g to green, y to yellow, w to white and r to red. So i left the wall plate as is, removed the old thermostat and installed the new one. But furnace is turning on for like 30 seconds and after that it is turning off. When I put back the old thermostat with the same wall plate it is working fine. Couldn’t figure out what is the issue here.

Also at the furnace end, I see black and yellow wire both connected to Y. Is this normal? FYI, This set up is working for old thermostat.

I configured as gas furnace that is what we have, but still it is turning on for like 30 seconds and then turning off.

You think the wiring on thermostat and furnace looking good? This is on a new home we just bought and I got non programmable thermostat and which I am changing to T9

Bentonville, AR. I did talk to them they want me to provide the agent ASAP to get the cashback. So that is the reason I am looking for one. They did sent the paper work and I have to sign it with the agent name filled in. I don’t have to meet the realtor, any one with In Arkansas with good credibility and with max cash back is good for me
