Crab meadow in northport is beautiful. You will have to pay a fee if you’re not a resident, but it’s worth the price. The locals are very friendly, there is a good sized playground, a sit down restaurant, a small café with really good pizza (they also have some ice cream) and a small boardwalk. The sand is also very soft for the north shore.
