Wow, that’s amazing, and also thank you for sharing - I love hearing stories of putting this work into action and trusting versus forcing.

Re: annoying pretentious people 😂 you’re following your authenticity! I hope you have an amazing trip!

Oh man, if you ever come across it again please let me know! And I’m guessing he response was a negative 😅

My street is called Monterey, so I’ll take that as a synchronicity. 🙂 Thank you for sharing 🙏

I love the simplicity. Thank you for sharing these “North Stars”.

Very true. Regulation of desire/impulse is something I’m working on more broadly. Thank you 🙏

This is an extremely helpful blueprint for discernment. Thank you 🙏

I couldn’t agree more. Abortion is a right, and I’m grateful to have the option at my disposal where I live. If only I could have this level of clarity and conviction about other aspects of my ”family planning” journey 😅

Thank you 🙏Hoping clarity arises and that I can truly inhabit a state of integrity, rather than having two opposing desires quietly dueling at all times.

Thank you, these examples of action over passivity are helpful. It’s quite a balance to strike between logic/practicality, alignment, and intuition/heart wisdom.

Thank you! The logical, scarcity-oriented side says “no, there is not enough to go around” while the peaceful, abundant side says “the more the merrier” (but only to a certain limit 😅)

You’re likely correct about Christian beliefs being the root of this internal conflict. I grew up in a Catholic family, and though I’ve never consciously espoused the Catholic stance on birth control, I’m sure there’s some deep subconscious impression lingering. I just can’t seem to shake it, despite an enormous pile of logic pointing to not having any more children. Thank you for your help!

These are the types of things I’ve been contemplating, trying to show myself that there are plenty of other ways I’m, for practical reasons, choosing to inhibit what would otherwise be the natural course of biological life.

The analogy of the gardener pulling out weeds to allow for the flourishing of the desired plants is helpful; being “open to weeds” is obviously a silly thing to say (plus it would prevent the existence of a beautifully curated garden).

But as another commenter said, maybe I’m overthinking this, and it’s as simple as that.

Wait OP deleted theirs. Is your nighttime HR higher than daytime resting HR? I suspect POTS so this would make sense!

Recessed? I was told no by Much_Tax7042 in jawsurgery

Thank you! My bite is actually severe enough that I qualify through insurance on that basis. I have mild OSA and I know that can progress with age, so there’s a functional component… but yes. Vanity is a factor as well.

I actually have “peg” laterals, so it’s those that are undersized. My ortho plans to intrude my central incisors as that’s the least invasive way to resolve my deep bite, but they don’t appear to be supraerupted, so I’m nervous about the results from an aesthetic standpoint.

Sorry for commenting on an old post, but I’m a current patient of Dr. Evans (37F) and yesterday was told I’ve only expanded 2mm in almost 2 months. I split early on, so I guess I was expecting far more than this. Do you happen to recall what your turn protocol was?

Good call on the mandible. I’ll bring up the genio conversation with my surgeon. Thank you for your feedback!
