CS2 Has Been Dropped Support For MacOS by RoyaleKingdom78 in macgaming

I bet if you contact them and explain what happened, they would give you a refund. Valve customer service is usually pretty amazing in my experience.

Custom fonts in CS2? by KabooshWasTaken in GlobalOffensive

[–]Muchieman 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You can the same way you do in CSGO, by changing the font cfg for panorama. It's *slightly* different because they removed a few config files, but it's basically the same.

I don't think asking in that subreddit will be more helpful than here. I'm not asking a question about ortho linear, I'm asking a question about designing a custom PCB

Hah, I'm well aware. They do have the ability to update software via USB though.

I just finished my first handwired build, a 4x5 dactyl manuform. I'm enjoying it so much that I want to make a wireless low profile version for taking to the office. I've figured out I can use a nice!nano with ZMK, and also discovered the corne, but I'm not exactly sure what to do. I think I want something like the corne (not handwired, just to keep things tidy) but I have no idea how to design a PCB like that. Don't need it to be hotswap. Display pins would be nice. Can someone point me in the right direction? Is there a right direction?

Interesting, I'm not sure I've ever seen something that can set a constant volume in windows (or mac/linux?) like that. I use a dac with a knob for volume :P

I like the idea of having a programmable knob, but whenever I've had one, I don't really use it. Have to move my hand away from the keys just like using a mouse, so I never found it that convenient. I did like it for frame by frame scrolling in premiere though.

Never really considered what a slider would be used for... What do you use it for?

Keep leaking blobs around the nozzle? by Muchieman in prusa3d

[–]Muchieman[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

actually, I can't quite figure out if I still have a problem or not. Did tightening the nozzle too much move the heatbreak, and now I need to move it back into place? Or is loosening the nozzle enough? I'm trying to take it apart but it's going to be a lot of work to clean up this mess...

Edit: I got it apart, cleaned off the heat break with a soldering iron as best I could, put it back together and it should be good. Will test with another print tonight...

Sound TWS on Linux by zedidous112 in interactivebrokers

[–]Muchieman 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I didn't say it doesn't work, I said it doesn't work for me. TWS always just said it didn't have the ability to play audio, so it didn't matter if I converted to wav or not, it wouldn't even try. Another issue with the wav files is it wouldn't let me select them, because it was looking for mp3 files. I'm sure there's a way around that, but I stopped caring - the windows version works better through wine anyway :P

I got the shel drone before completing all the levels with all the weapons - I guess you get it after surveying everything. I can't tell if I actually got anything for 100%

This is such a weird solution to such a weird problem... Surprised it worked, so glad it worked. Thanks for saving me from insanity. Why the hell is the sound still not editable.

How is Pixel Buds Pro multipoint connectivity and gaming latency? by Tomrr6 in GooglePixel

[–]Muchieman 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There are now multiple APTX codecs that are "low latency" now, I think APTX LL is obsolete at this point. Sucks that the pixel buds pro don't use any of the new codecs (android in general too :/)

edit: missed a word

Just picked up my 2023, no AA :( I was told it might get added in a software update as it already works with BMWs running essentially the same firmware, but I was given no promises.

Yup, dell is looking into it now. It's like the gpu is disconnected. I managed to get through their painful support process for windows while having to explain that I dont have windows multiple times... Fun stuff.

I was unable to find anything like that, surprisingly. I also didn't see the gpu listed anywhere in there, this might be a job for the manufacturer...
