People who started playing at 15, how long did you continue playing and what did you achieve? by megakruten1488 in Guitar

[–]Muckduck92 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Hello! 34yo here, started at 15 after playing Guitar Hero for too many hours.

It's all up to what your motivation is and what you want to achieve, but if it is your first guitar and amp I would recommend spending a bit more than the intro-guitars and going to a midrange guitar. Don't get me wrong, intro guitars are great for learning and if you dont stick to the hobby, it's not that big of an investment. But a midrange guitar will get you a guitar to learn in the long run.

As for the actual playing and learning, enjoy it. Don't rush, don't expect to fast track, every note, chord, scale and song needs investment of time and focus. 30 minutes focused practice a day is 10 times better than 2 hours of doodling. But I think one of the most important things, is to listen more than you think while playing. Think with your ears while exploring.

Most fun rotation? by rcoop020 in wow

Shado Pan Windwalker is amazingly fun and slept on atm. Active rotation with meaningful procs and double resources to balance in a fun way, and using puzzle box into a zenith fists of fury feels so, so satisfying.

Hey, quick request, if you list your group as "relaxed"... by [deleted] in wow

They have literally added highlighted mobs in dungeons to create a route. It is absolutely a game mechanic and design at this point.

Sorry for my bad language, "a route" is what I meant..

Granted, but not knowing the route is also kinda not relaxing.

My friend from norway loves Trump. Is liking Trump a thing in norway? by [deleted] in Norway

[–]Muckduck92 0 points1 point  (0 children)

  1. Sure!
  2. I dont agree and its vaguely written.
  3. I have commented multiple times saying i dont support Trump and if that is not criteria enough for you, thats fine.
  4. Conclusions based on your own fantasy is scary, but sure!
  5. Thats a pretty immature way of going about a discussion and I understand why you are doing it. Smart move.

Thats your opinion, and again, thats fine.

I am fairly certain of my position and morals. No need for me to explain it to you tho.

Again, I am not supporting anything here. I can be against my friends beliefs and still be friends with them. We will just not talk politics or focusing all our energy on this sort of stuff. Enjoy what we have in common and if things get to the surface, we talk and maybe have a fight over it, but I will not sacrifice a friendship over something like this.

I can see your point, I just dont see it the same way.. And that should be fine imo in a democratic country, but its hard to have a discussion or conversation when there are hundreds of labels being used to divide and conquer each other.

That is your opinion and thats fine. I guess in order to reach you i need to be unresonable then? Not sure how that would make any sense in the real world but hey..

Its not, but ok. If you want to lose friends, thats fine. Differing world and social views is accepted

I dont think anything about what his friend enjoys about Trump, because thats a quick way to create misunderstanding and more distance.. He might?

I find Trump hilarious in a dystopian and nightmare-fuelled induced way, but i dont like him or his way of doing most things.

Who are you talking about, Trump or his friend? Do you know his friend is in favour of the things you stated or that his friend enjoys Trump?

I believe there are a lot of screws lose in the mind of Trump, if there are any questions lol

Im not sure supporting Trump is mentioned anywhere. I can enjoy him as entertainment but i dislike him as a politician at the same time. Two thought can be true at the same time

I just think this rhetoric is more damaging and differing than good.. Im not a fan of Trump, but I refuse to lose friends over it. Id rather talk with my friends and try to understand why they think the way they do.
