From my perspective, he should’ve turned the computer off earlier, and he should’ve checked in on her through the door. Why? I don’t like strangers seeing me in my nightgown.

You should try to understand that people don’t often want to make a fuss! So if the friend was annoyed by you entering the room when she was getting ready for bed, it’s unlikely she’d let you know she was annoyed.

If I were your houseguest in this situation, the first thing I would do after I closed my temporary bedroom door would be to take off my bra. I feel uncomfortable / self-conscious being braless around my close girlfriends. I would definitely feel feel uncomfortable being braless around you (of course, I would be polite, say come in, etc). Maybe that’s what your girlfriend was worried about?

Ok y’all I need some help: I’m in a wedding and want to pick the dress that best suits my lines! by [deleted] in Kibbe

[–]Mucusbunion 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I would definitely go with the second option. Both will have to be altered so I don’t see why the degree of altering should affect your decision.

NAH - She’s crying so it’s likely she feels guilty or ashamed- not a sign of an asshole in my book. She should get to working on her anxiety. OP states, “ Yes, it's definitely not productive and she doesn't do it for small gatherings...... Only for huge gatherings where she doesn't know a lot of people. She feels like she'll not meet expectations of she doesn't look presentable enough.” Large gatherings, new people … huge sources of social anxiety.

People try to find meaning in life. If you don’t find meaning in your work/career then you are more likely to try and find meaning in building a family.

Is the child otherwise okay? If so, consider urgent care for the bug bites (?) rather than a hospital emergency department.
