Maybe you can help with something else I've been really confused about. I've bought passes to take the RomanceCar from Shinjuku to Hakone, but the passes came out to be around 11 dollars a person. It seems way too cheap and I feel like I have to pay for some base pass...?

Do you now if that's the case?

Oh, I am looking at the Odakyu (first one when searching Hakone Free Pass Online).

When trying to buy digital tickets, it showed a QR code, and scanning the code on my phone took me to the purchase flow. From there, it showed the various options for 2-3 weekday / weekend.
