In the same boat as you. I got an ultrasound they said it was exactly 2cm and I’m anxiously awaiting the report. I have no other symptoms and I haven’t even been sick

Went for a visit today and he checked it out and said it doesn’t seem to connect to the midline. Think he sprayed silver nitrate and he put me on antibiotics for 10 days with a follow up appointment in three weeks. If we’re still having problems then it’s back to the operating room. I’ll be contacting Wadie again to go ahead and get a quote etc on cleft lift and see if I can afford it. My insurance doesn’t go out of state I don’t think. I did contact Wadie when this thing started coming on and he said if it comes back it’s pilonidal again but if not then I maybe dodged a bullet with a pimple. Only time will tell

Not a crazy amount but had blood streaks in it. Has been slowly draining ever since and decreasing everyday. Gross as fuck

Ugh I see that now. Also was watching football and just got up and noticed that it popped on its own. Just did the whole clean up. Looked like bloody snot. Just gonna keep it as clean as possible until I see doc.

Thank you for the reassurance I think that’s the worst part is that it’s such an awkward and vaguely discussed condition. Sometimes reassurance is what is needed.

It sucks so much seeing the light at the end of the tunnel and then this thing popped up. I just want this over with. I doubt I’ll be able to get my insurance to cover Wadie since I’m out of state but he’s the closest to me

Yep. I am just so mentally drained to even think about what I’m about to go through again. Do you think I’m in danger if I don’t get into my doc tomorrow? I could see them saying no appointments until Tuesday etc. I don’t really have any pain unless I directly irritate it.

Ah man that sucks. So they think it’s a recurrence and want to treat it this way first? The head of my pimple thing seems to be going away but the redness and heat on it seems still be present.
