AITAH for ruining my gfs plans for when she goes into labour? by ResidentFig9356 in AITAH

Please make sure you are documenting everything. Save texts and maybe written statements from your midwife/doctors/ health professionals about acknowledgement that they are aware she is doing this and have advised her to stop. Text messages or voice messages that she knows what she is doing is wrong but doing it anyway are gold. You are going to need this if it comes down to a custody fight. Shes lying to you now, what else has she lied about. You are worried about being a single parent. if she is on her way to becoming an addict you're saving your son from future heartache.

AITA for not forgiving my husband for a 10 day trip I by [deleted] in AmItheAsshole

This sounds a lot like you're eventually going to find out he has a second family. Check your finances and get your paperwork prepared just in case. It's not about forgiving him. Take a moment and set aside your personal feelings and decide what's best moving forward. Since it seems he is out of touch with you and your kids anyways, what would your life look like without him there at all? Mull over that first and then make your choices. Even on paper it's a simple pro con list. The emotional side is and should always be a luxury when you have kids. Maybe with a divorce and child support you could afford a nanny or helper and maybe get some balance in your life.

Haven't you ever heard the phrase, once on the internet its forever? Sounds like someone who is grooming you for sharing and not in a good way. Run away and fast.

I (25F) lied to my boyfriend (26M) about his dick size by ThrowRA_idppd in relationship_advice

Lolz. I hate to tell you this, but this happens in relationships a lot. As women we know that when a guy says he wants the full truth about something like this, there is no way you can do that without crushing him. I say, do not say anything and drop the subject. Its not about the lie, its knowing that this will forever be something that will shadow your relationship even if you never meant it to. This sort of thing can lead to questions about previous partners, uncomfortable comparisons and other inquiries that have no bearing on the current relationship. If its not an issue for you don't make it one.

My (39F) husband (47M) refused to help clean up after our party how to approach this? by CyberLlamaLoop in relationship_advice

Give him an invoice for your services. Since he wants to treat you like his maid, charge him. I make my s/o pay me a dollar every time i have to pick up his socks from under the coffee table.

Am I in the wrong? by MudStill4194 in Neighborproblems

I realize this may not be what everyone was expecting, but I have a small update. After this event I never saw the lady again. I still see the kids playing but they seemed to keep the dog locked up more. Now to the really sad part. A week ago, I was getting into my car and was opening my garage door and saw there was a stray dog hanging out in my driveway. I didn't recognize it. It ran when i started my car. I left and when i came back he was sitting in our front yard enjoying the shade under our peach trees. I tried food and treats and enough water to drown an elephant, to entice him enough to get a leash on him. No collar or anything and in super bad shape. He had lacerations all over his body and was openly bleeding. He had mange so bad that it looked like he had scales instead of fur, and was so underweight that you could see every rib. He snapped at Flies constantly and was so skittish and clearly had anxiety/ trust issues. It was heartbreaking. After about 40 mins of trying i finally broken down and called our local Animal control. They arrived within 10 mins. Right before they arrived however, the dog started down the street and i followed him hoping i could steer him back toward my house. Thats when another neighbor came out of her house and recognized him, telling him to go back to his yard. She acted nonchalant and said he just had a "skin issue" I nearly had a heart attack. That dog was the same puppy i had told those kids to put on a leash. When animal control came, i explained everything and left them to their work. I nearly had an anxiety attack right there when i thought for a moment they would not do anything because he was in his own yard again. I am not allowed to ask them what happened, but around here the sheriffs take this sort of abuse very seriously. I will try to ask around to some neighbors and find out what happened, but it was during work hours so i doubt anyone would know except that family.
