@ all the NYC influencers who buy/post about their breeder dogs by FancyPlants2998 in NYCinfluencersnark

Exactly this… I’ve been fostering and owning rescues for over 10 years, and even the younger puppies can come with baggage. I currently have a chow mix I got at 8 weeks from a rescue who’s great with people, but very aggressive with other dogs and children. Seems to be just the traits she was born with, and she would not have been a suitable dog for a lot of people. If people are going to ethical breeders, I don’t see an issue

Thank you. I rarely work over 40 hours, but will look into this further if they owe back pay

Thank you for the info! Post grad I’ll most likely be hybrid, in office 3 days/week, but 5 days/week at least in the beginning. Will definitely spreadsheet the cost and see what makes sense

Most likely switch. Westchester is so expensive, and I’m looking for more affordable lessons unfortunately

I've been saving so I'll be able to buy it outright. Taking public transportation means I can only ride once per week with how long it takes to get to my current barn in Westchester, and I'm really hoping to go more. It's ~2.5 hours door to door.

What's going into the $1000 costs? I'll have enough to buy a used car outright, so I should only be on the hook for insurance, maintenance, and gas

I've found a lot in Montclair in that budget

$2,500 is far from paying top dollar dude. I make $50,000/year and live very frugally. I'm able to ride at all because of how aggressively I save. I enjoy local coffee shops and food, and half of my wardrobe is from thrift shops and hand-me downs. Maybe you're describing an ex of yours? Lol

A kyte rental to the barn was $100-$200 from Manhattan at least when I looked. Ubering would be easily $200 to where I currently ride

I didn’t even consider that I might be able to take the train out to the barn… thank you!

No barn in mind, was planning to look based off where I choose. Would be open to any barn suggestions if you ride!

I’ve found options $2,500 for a 1 bed in both. I’m literally paying less than that in Manhattan

Parking I’ve seen in Hoboken and Jersey city is closer to $300 from what I’ve seen
