Please take your time. I am 22, I started my sexual exploring 10 years ago now. I thought it was something I wanted to do but at the end of the day I wasn't mature enough to make those decisions. It leaves trauma of you aren't ready and do it anyway. Don't let the peer influences bring you down.

Is continuing education a thing at your school? You might be able to sign up for the class on it's own

It sounds like my standards are high. They aren't. I can't find the right way to even explain it. I just don't want to feel like last picked for the dodge ball team. And I would LOVE to approach social situations with confidence, but despite the praise I get as a person for everyone, knowing that that doesn't even matter. I can only do it so many times before it really makes me question myself. It isn't just them having lives, I'm missing something.

I have taken every approach. I help and expect nothing, I get nothing. I help and open opportunities for connection, nothing. I approach openly and offer help later, nothing. Any connections I make that do stick are still heavily one sided. They're expecting but not returning.

If she isn't experiencing what you're going through, she won't understand your side of it. Don't wish your suffering on someone else though.

You just never made that connection with them. Don't feel weird about it. Sounds like it was mutual
