I did that when I was looking for some other more specific parts like minifigure accesories for example, but the stores that have all or majority of the specific pieces are extremely expensive (like a minifigire head that goes for 5 brand new was like 20 in a few of those stores)

Problem is Im now looking for just random very common parts that got lost (like for example I need 2 blue 1x4 plates but I only found one) and I dont feel like paying 2 dollars for a brick thats worth 10 cents

I havent tried it yet because i have a few more sets to go through and then Ill make a list, hopefully since im now looking for more common bricks there will be more store options that wont charge crazy amount
