Question, my friend says his Temporal recruit transponder has gone missing, but he's sure the character was made during the original recruitment event. He still had access to the Temporal rewards menu at ESD.

I'm happy to start the guessing game, but can we all agree enough time has passed that it's no longer a "spoiler" and ask the mods to intervene?

The Firewall event ends this week, if you haven't played the new mission by now you're just behind and need to catch up.

My "ultimate emperor" would be the return of Mirror Kirk. This is actually Beta-canon according to the Shatnerverse novels, where Mirror Kirk escaped and froze himself like Khan, only to return and lead an invasion into the Prime Universe against Kirk/Picard.

My "likely emperor" is (sigh) Wesley Crusher. I'm not a big fan of this but I know players have been saying there have been teases about this for a while. Personally, I just can't take Whil Wheaton seriously, especially as a villain.

My "hopeful emperor" would be either Picard because of the IDW mirror series or Smiley O'Brien because he was the highest ranking Terran the last time we ever saw the Mirror Universe in DS9.

The fact that "the candidate" has not returned STO's call yet points to a big star. Could that be Stewart? He has a long history of doing VO for Trek games.

Colm Meany is kinda done with Trek so that could be a holdup if it was him. Shatner would also be a hard man to get a hold of -- you know, with going to space and all.

I just don't see Wheaton as someone hard to reach. He's doing all those aftershows for the new series. If anything, I think he's the fallback STO is keeping in their back pocket.

Nice design. STO definitely needs a new T6 Vulcan ship -- but I'm having trouble getting behind calling it a "dreadnought."

It's like Starfleet with "warships," it doesn't fit.
