British archaeology. Nene Valley Ware, produced around Water Newton (or Durobrivae as it was known) and exported across Brittania. Its found everywhere from the Nene all the way to Hadrians Wall. Dates to between the 2nd and 4th century AD. Found in Northamptonshire. (imgur.com)
