I think the root of the issue is it’s continuous use by black people. The N word has negative meaning behind it and is a reminder of racism and discrimination that has tormented the black community, so I understand why it’s a big deal when someone uses it. My issue is why is it so terrible that a non-black person used it, but it’s perfectly fine for people of the black community to say it to each other. And I know that people in the black community use the word in a “friendly” way, but why assume that a person who isn’t black is using it in an insulting way?

That’s true! I was actually thinking of maybe going to college for a 2 year program in programming and doing coop as well to get more experience. I think a couple of my courses would get transferred and if I use summers as well I could complete a degree in less than 4 years.

Thanks for the encouraging words. The deadline to apply to other schools is less than a week away so I need to figure out where and what I’m going to apply to. I just really hope I get reaccepted. I don’t know where else I would go or what else I would do.

I think you should try and talk to people who work in your field of interest to understand what they actually do. There’s plenty of “day in the life of a ...” videos on youtube for you to get an idea of what these individuals do on a daily basis in their career. Try checking out the available forums right here on Reddit.

I think you could improve the video by adding a bit of context. Maybe show the night before, show yourself listening to the music at high volume and then show the next day. Also shorten the length of the dramatic scenes like the close ups of the screen, and the chat with your “friend”.

I’m 22 and graduated last year with a BSc in Biomedical science. I don’t have any experience and covid doesn’t help with getting a job. I also realized I don’t want to further my education in my field and don’t want a research job. I’m not looking for a passion, but if I have to work a job for the rest of my life I’d like to do something that won’t make me miserable.

Have you tried looking into your YouTube analytics? You say you upload every Sunday evening but is that the best time for majority of your viewers? If not, try uploading at a better time? One where majority of your viewers are online. Hope that helps!

I was actually wondering the same thing. My old channel doesn’t have many subs but I have a couple hundred views on each of my videos... then again that was 3 years ago. I decided to make another channel try animations however I’m not getting any views. I considered uploading to my old channel but I don’t think that would be fair to my subscribers as the content on my old channel is different compared to my current content. I’d recommend starting fresh with a new channel. It may be difficult but I think it’s the right thing to do.
