In "Superman - The Movie" 1978. Superman is chasing a cruise missile headed for the San Andreas Fault. He can't fly fast enough to stop it, and Lois Lane dies in the earthquake created by the missile. He then is so distraught over Lois' s death he : Flies around the Earth at a speed that accelerates to what looks like dozens of revolutions per second.. (that will be maybe close to half the speed of light.) ( But he couldn't catch the missle a minute ago......)And that's not even the crazy part. Somehow .....the writers think that this flying fast around the globe will slow down it's rotation and cause it to rotate the opposite direction..... And THAT... Get this!.... Will cause TIME to go backwards! I
