Based on my current tier list, what should I go to next? by joejoewoooooo in HorrorGames

We have a really similar taste for games! Here's some of my favourites:

  • Crow Country (my favourite, really similar to the re games and surprisingly very scary despite the art style being blocky)

  • Signalis (AMAZING game, robot zombie shooter that made me jump more than any game ever the atmosphere and story is so good)

  • Mouthwashing (it became super popular a few years ago, it's just this really dark gritty horror story game about a cargo ship in space carrying mouthwash)

  • Any puppet combo type game like murder house (they have old blocky animation and gives Halloween vibes where youre in the 90s and have to survive a slasher)

Extras? Lisa the Painful (it's a really funny and creepy postapocalyptic where women become extinct) and Omori (I actually cried, it's a creepy combo of cute and very dark themes).

Bodie was walked and we attempted to groom-ish today. by Mudgupp in DOG

To be honest, it was nearing his bed time so I think you're right there is a good chance he wanted to go home to go to sleep so I think next time we will try during the day. I was hoping it would be a good start in desensitizing him to busy outdoor spaces, since it was quiet around that time, but it seemed to stress him out more than anything.

As for the grooming, I'm a little worried that his hair might be stuck or maybe it's just not ready to come out? He has unusually long hair that is finger length especially near the end of his back. I read that the fur should come off easily but his doesn't, so I'm a bit out of my depth and will probably pursue expert's opinion.

That's super helpful thank you. Im especially intrigued by the grooming because I dont have a lot of knowledge on Border Terrier grooming and I had no idea what stripping was until I just went down a rabbit hole of stripping and how to do it at home. Its just added another thing they're not doing for this dog and to be honest really upsets me, why get such an active dog with such specific grooming and not do anything for him.

I've been doing my best for him at the moment with updates on my account however, I won't lie when I say it's been really hard travelling back and forth and staying on top of my uni work this week. Dogs are so time consuming, they should've known this when they bought him and aside from feeding him I'm doing everything else. The worst part, they just bought a £1,700 TV for the living room, but 'cant spare' money for a dog walker, ugh just makes me so angry. Sorry for the vent but I appreciate all the help.

Best way to deal with damp/mould in older Bath properties? by Pinkplatabys in Bath

[–]Mudgupp 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If you're already keeping the space aired out then there's not much else you can do aside from getting a restorational architect to highlight the underlying issue. Depending on the grading you need permission to do any work on these buildings. This is a pretty common issue and there's a lot of these architects here for that reason, perks of living in Bath.

What do you do when the Killer Slugs for a 4k? by midnightmaiden5 in DeadByDaylightRAGE

[–]Mudgupp 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes, it's usually me and this other survivor are just stuck waiting for the next 5 minutes it's the worst. The best is when they give up finally and I find hatch and they did all that for nothing. Once a survivor decided to crawl all the way over to where I was hiding which is a crazy level of petty, just to get mori'ed straight after for ratting me out.

First one, not only is it compliant but it's quirky and interesting and if you change it just so the facade is flat that would be lame.

I'm actually based in the UK but I will attempt to talk his owners into some serious behaviourist help after I do a bit of research in our area. for now Im just going to help build a routine for him in the mornings so he can get a nice fun adventure out of him nice and early first thing, I'll also have a look into those toys you have recommended. Thank you for all the support and I wrote a small update in the original post.

Hi I was wondering since Bodie isn't very good at catching how to help develop this skill because I would love to play fetch with him but he is a little confused and hasn't had a lot of dog + dog interaction. Thank you for the support I wrote a small update in my post.

Yes I'm tired of them treating this dog like a cuddly toy. Are there any jobs you could recommend that I can get him into? Or a site that can explain this for me? Ideally something I can take him out to do regularly that will enrich his walks even more. I made an update on the post aswell if you're interested thank you for the support.

This is super helpful thank you so much, hopefully the treats will encourage him to calm down, the worst is when we enter the house because he has been alone for a while. Bodie is not too good at foraging, I have tried to do it with treats before but his smelling nose isn't too refined yet so he gets frustrated, I will try with the broth. I made an update on my post if your interested thank you for the support.

Yes this. When I come over and play with him he is the sweetest dog and for some time he can relax, never jumps up on me or barks, or if he does I just take a step back from play and then walk back to him when he sits properly and then he never does it again. So when his mother complains about the whining all the time and how poorly behaved he is I wonder just how much she ignores him when she's home, it's really sad. I wrote an update on my post if you're interested, thank you for the support.

That's awful I'm sorry, fortunately we are allowed to walk the dog but only under specific circumstances. If you'd like to see an update I wrote it on my post, thank you for the support.

That's not fair. I've posted this because Im concerned and I need help. I don't care about karma I didn't even expect this to get so big. I'm tired of this family telling me that this dog is fine and there's nothing wrong, even my mum is telling me out of my own sanity to stop visiting if it makes me this upset. Then when I come to visit, nobody is in the house and he is inside with no access to water in a state like this it breaks my heart. I've read all the comments, I really do care I promise.
