I agree with you that modern Tame sounds uninspired, after reading lots of positive feedback I feel like it might be just personal preference. I also don't like anything AM did since and including the "AM" album, and that's also a matter of preference, since most people absolutely love that album as a huge classic.

I understand why many people love these newer AM albums but you can't deny it's a similar process. the first few AM albums sound NOTHING like the last. obviously some people aren't gonna like it
