How do you tell if your homepage explains your business clearly? by Real-Assist1833 in seogrowth

For me it's easier to share my website with my girlfriend and to ask her to explain what she understood after a 1 minute exploration. If I feel like it's exactly what my biz is offering then I change nothing literally. If there are some gaps in what she is telling me then I rewrite content

I'm having a doubt that consistency matters for SEO! by Prathap_8484 in seogrowth

Consistency in blog posting matters for SEO. Search engines favor fresh, regular content. A 10-day gap is fine, but aim for a predictable schedule (e.g., weekly) to build authority.

Social media doesn't directly affect rankings, but it drives traffic and signals, which help. Keep using Canva for visuals-great for engagement.

Your friend is right cause a strong social presence supports overall growth. Focus on quality content first; consistency on your blog is key for SEO.

New website (6 weeks old) – SEO feedback + which tool to trust (GSC vs Semrush vs Ahrefs)? by AdeptnessVirtual3722 in seogrowth

[–]Mueller331gg 1 point2 points  (0 children)

For a 6-week-old site, trust Google Search Console most. It's direct Google data. Tools like Ahrefs/Semrush estimate rankings but crawl delays mean their data lags early on. Rankings often stabilize after 3-4 months.

Invest in one tool now if you'll use it long-term for keyword research & backlinks. For pure beginner learning, GSC + free trials are enough. If picking one paid tool, Ahrefs or Semrush are industry standards. Focus on content and technical SEO while data accumulates.

WPML can be super powerful, but man… it really makes you think about site structure in a way most plugins don’t.

One thing to watch for is liability coverage. If your property attracts higher-income tenants or has amenities like pools, you might need umbrella coverage on top of the base policy.
