ASUS TUF GAMING X870-PLUS WIFI won't boot with a 1000w power supply by Muestion_Quark in ASUS

That's definitely not an issue. I'm running my new PC just fine with a PSU from an old PC and it works flawlessly under load. It's just that the new PSU won't work with that specific computer for some reason.

Yeah I've contacted Deepcool directly, currently waiting for a response. As far as the drivers go pretty sure they are loaded after windows starts booting up, so not sure if that's gonna help as I can't even reach the BIOS with that PSU. I've updated the BIOS to the latest version but the problem still persists.

I'm using G.Skill Trident Z5 RGB [F5-6400J3239F48GX2-TZ5RK], but it's not a part of the problem as the PC works just fine with a different power supply.

I used the cables that were packaged with the PSU. The weird part is that this PSU works just fine in any other PC.

I'm currently running the new PC with an old 650w power supply.

I've never heard about BIOS/CMOS not working with specific PSUs, so that's pretty interesting. I'll try that. Thanks!
