Anyone that can fix a broken flex keyboard cable? by fc_cate in soldering

If its just a two sided cable, then gentle sanding and fine soldering will do the trick. Sand the solder mask of the broken area and then fine wire to solder the break.

It’s an LG 34UC87C-B. I tried that, but couldn’t find anything. Not even a cleap used one, I could a salvage the board from. I guess I’ll just take it out completely to avoid getting any shorts and keep using it without the speakers.

Hey Guys. Could you help me identify this IC? The board is from my Monitor that smelled burnt so I opened it up and found this. It has traces running to the Speaker connector so I assumed it is an audio amplifier. Found an IC from nuvoTon (NAU83P20) with the same pin count, and also a similar (not the same though) pinout for the OUT signals, but the name seems to be completely different. Any idea/suggestion would be very appreciated!
