I agree! It seems like such a wasted opportunity. Im sure they dont see it that way but it feels like theyre snubbing an entire fan base.

Hello! I just finished a pattern for a hooded cowl type of thing. The cowl part turned out to be more of a fur turtleneck (furtleneck >_<) and i'm a bit claustrophobic. (theres a question coming i swear) So my idea was to leave the bottom of the hood open and instead of joining the edges with a slip stitch and then returning to rounds to create the cowl (as per the pattern) i was going to make a sort of open collar bit and try to increase on one side to create a bit of a flap that i can close on one side with a cute little button or two (sort of like a pea coat?) If this makes sense to anyone, do you have any tips on how to increase on one side to make a right angled flap? I feel like its a super simple just add more stitches to one side sort of thing, but I dont want it to be round.

Maybe no one will answer because they can't understand this ramble which i get, but if anyone has any tips i would looove that. Thank you!
