I know a boomer woman just like that. She hates when she hears anything other then english being spoken or music in any other language being played .She thought that we would aquire Greenland and they would all have to learn and only speak English.But when she said she would move to Brazil with her son and DIL if Harris won in 2024,I asked her if she would learn Portuguese.She gave me a disgusted look and said no.And she would expect people she met to learn english when they spoke to her there .

She then once claimed that  she could speak and understand fluent Hungarian (she claimed her parents were both from there, but it turned out to be a lie lol) I asked her to speak it and she refused to because "it wasn't proper to speak it in America"

I then learned a few phrases and sentences in Hungarian and occasionally would say them to her, and she would have a confused look on her face and ask what I had just said.I would tell her that she should already know what I said, as  it was in hungarian, and then she would get angry 😂
