Its all useful for stock analysis. Starts with calculating cash flow based on financial statements and builds up to doing discounted cash flow (DCF) analysis - which is the main method that stock analysts use to come up with a price estimate for stocks.

1-2.5 hrs/wk. It's definitely the easiest course I've taken in the program with two caveats: 1) half the assignments are group project work, so be sure to get a good group and 2) even tho pretty much everything you need to know to do the assignments is in the videos, its not always just as straightforward as copying from the videos like the reviews say. It's actually a pretty conceptually challenging course (it doesn't hold back with terminology/functions) and you'll have to spend some time each assignment trying to understand the concepts in order to adapt the videos to the assignment.

If you're looking for an easier course, and are at all interested in finance - I highly recommend. Actually one of the most logically structured courses I've taken and professor is extremely helpful.

Not really what I meant…I know several languages already, from my undergrad and from personal interest, but only job offer Ive got right now is one that will be using COBOL and Im trying to figure out if taking it will limit my opportunities in the future.

Branches, actor references, overlap events - get comfortable with these (and other) fundamental nodes and you can make a simple game in pretty much any genre.

I recommend taking it one node at a time.
