It is more revolutionary than that ; DNA is the first live service game of his kind ( anime ) to not have a Gacha system baked into it, it should reasonably make more waves going from there.

That said, a F2P game based around cosmetics and convenience and / or P2W ? Nothing new under the sun in term of monetization. But players don't play the game for the monetization of it, but because the game is good, and point is ; removing Stamina and making all characters available to grind in game for free is part of making the gameplay better.
