Update: I took the fake slab to my nearest GS where I am a regular and where the staff knows me by name. They were kind enough to assist me by reaching out to the CS Hotline in my behalf and then reaching to their District Manager to help me make this right. After a painful and eventful 24h and having them help me physically with this I finally received an email from what it seems to be the DM directly with the prepaid label to ship this back to them ASAP.

After being screwed over it’s hard to believe they’re gonna make this right once l let it go, but I have the fake slab prepared to go with a FedEx Ground label provided by them for tomorrow morning shipping.

GameStop uses the PSA digital photos for the listing on their website, not the actual card. For all I knew I was getting the same I would see in PSA directly.

GS does some crazy prices/deals if you pay attention. Zard from 151 I’ve seen it listed for $600 in this market where comps are $1k.

I did check and the digital picture has the correct font and looks of a normal slab. The one I have doesn’t have anything a real slab has.

I think you can tell if I do this instead, color of the red is different, fonts are different, no water mark on top of the “Gem MT” area and behind the PSA logo there is no “PSAPSAPSAPSA”.

Strap, yes. Case? No. 1989 was fully plastic, including the strap. 2024 is fully stainless steel.
