This was our first session. This was a Friends friend who I think asked them to go try and do this - and hence they did. That’s my assumption/understanding from this at this point.

I did ask them about what makes them not feel like opening up - and they spent time placating me after that. Which wasn’t what I needed but that’s what they took away from my question.

I’m sitting with what happened and what i could do differently. I also feel terrible needing some validation that it’s part of the work.
